Within an agency that exists to serve the community, the Parks & Recreation Department’s mission is to acquire, develop, operate, and maintain a parks and recreation system which enriches the quality of life for its residents and visitors alike, and preserve it for future generations. The Summer Recreation 2023 Program serves as an avenue to serve both our direct community and surrounding communities. This program is held during Summer Break and offers parents/guardians an alternative to childcare for children in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade.
In Haines City Parks & Recreation Programs, we provide a positive and safe atmosphere for children to learn, grow, and have a blast. Each day at camp, we have an outlined activity itinerary for the campers to make rewarding experiences and friendships throughout their time at camp. This includes field trips, inside & outdoor games, creating art, going outside to beautiful Haines City Green Spaces, and more!
